When you’re in a band you’re constantly thinking about balance: balance between practice and performance; balance between instruments; balance between writing new songs and perfecting old ones – you get the point.
As we’ve learned in Madame Psychosis, you also need to balance your original material with covers to appeal to a wider audience during live gigs. As Will Ferrell so eloquently put it in Blades of Glory, “it get’s the people going”. This can’t be more true of cover songs.
Here are a few of the cover songs we’ve been performing at our shows in Toronto. If you like what you hear, come check us out at our upcoming shows.

Bonus song: we decided to get festive during our year-end show in December with our version of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You”. Enjoy!

We’re also always adding new songs to our repertoire and talking about the songs that we think would be a hit with our crowd. If you have any requests or songs you’d want to hear, leave a comment at the bottom of the post.
We hope to see you soon at one of our shows.
One love,
