“Revolution” reflects the band’s commitment to social justice, tackling issues of inequality, discrimination, and the urgent need for transformative change. With a raw and unapologetic edge, Madame Psychosis addresses the current state of the world, urging listeners to rise up and demand a better future. The chorus echoes the sentiments of those longing for change, with the repeated refrain, “I need a revolution, we need a revolution, they need a revolution, she needs a revolution.”

“When I sat down to write the lyrics it came from the frustration of consistently seeing and hearing about the oppression and marginalization of people across the world, and also my own personal experiences of subjugation,” says the band’s lyricist and lead singer, Michelle Mondesir. “The less we embrace our differences as a positive and beautiful reflection of unique qualities that deserve a place and space in society, the more we lose our humanity. Until we start thinking and behaving in an expansive manner, coming from a place of true care, love, compassion, and kindness for ourselves and others, we will never be free.”

“Revolution” is a sonic explosion, featuring powerful guitar effects and distortion that intensify the band’s impassioned message. It’s a testament to the band’s ability to blend gritty rock with socially conscious lyrics, creating a powerful musical experience for fans old and new.
