Mark your calendars! The band is set to release their highly anticipated new studio album on October 23rd, 2024. The album is called MP3, a playful nod to both the digital music era and the fact that this is Madame Psychosis’ third record. It is their most ambitious and emotionally charged project to date, delving deep into the psychological and social landscapes of modern life. It features a cohesive and dynamic collection of genre-blending tracks, including previously released singles “Concrete Streets,” “Hopeless,” “Revolution,” “Charlie’s Story,” and “Foxtail.”
“The world has gone through a lot and we wanted to create an album that acts as a reflection of the times,” says lead singer and lyricist Michelle Mondesir. “It is also meant to take you inward, understanding who you are, and then stepping out to interact with the world around you in a meaningful way.”
In conjunction with MP3, the band is also releasing “Lucky”, an infectious guitar-driven anthem that explores the various masks we wear in different environments, reflecting the deeply human need for acceptance. Here’s a sneak peek at the album’s full tracklist:
- I’ll Go
- Anywhere With You
- Lucky
- Hopeless
- Charlie’s Story
- Concrete Streets
- Foxtail
- Revolution
- Vulnerability
- Nightmares

To go along with the name of the album, the cover features the iconic play button, a clear representation of the digital music age, set against shimmering mirrored tiles that give the artwork a sleek and polished feel. This aesthetic perfectly mirrors the refined and polished sound of MP3 while positioning the album as a reflection of the world around us. The artwork was created by the band’s guitar player, Bret McCaffrey.
From the delicate piano melody that opens the album to the six-minute epic that closes it, MP3 takes listeners on an emotional rollercoaster. Madame Psychosis’ blend of alt-rock anthems and pop-rock gems mirrors the natural ebbs and flows of life, capturing the thematic essence of the record. The band invites fans old and new to join them on this introspective journey by pre-saving MP3 ahead of its official release on all digital streaming platforms on October 23rd. The countdown has begun!
