The band is welcoming the arrival of fall with the release of “Concrete Streets”, an upbeat and gritty track that reminds us all to break free from the 9-5 grind and embrace our mental health. “Concrete Streets” was recorded at Union Sound Company and Raventape Music Room in Toronto and mixed by Alex Gamble, who recorded the band’s self-titled album in 2017 and 2019’s sophomore record Survivor.
“Concrete Streets” will be on all major streaming services on October 6th – but you can pre-save the song today by clicking on the Spotify logo below:
“Concrete Streets” not only entertains but also speaks to the complexities of life in the modern world. With a powerful chorus and poignant lyrics that resonate, the song uncovers the struggle to achieve work-life balance, a theme that resonated with the band especially at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic when the track was first written.
“We all strongly believe in the importance of getting away from the concrete jungle and instead diving into the serenity of nature”, says Michelle Mondesir, the band’s lead singer and lyricist. “We should all do more to turn inward towards our passions and rekindle our love of life.”
As part of the release announcement, the band is also unveiling the single’s artwork, which captures the “Concrete Streets” recording sessions at Union Sound and at Raventape Music Room in a montage of Polaroids. The band’s long-time recording and mixing engineer, Alex Gamble, and newest member Paul Silvestri are captured in the artwork.

“Concrete Streets” is the first single off the band’s third studio album, which is slated for release in mid-2024, and the first since 2019’s “Kapow” from Survivor.
